Cassidy Cubito - Cassidy will attend SUNY New Paltz in the fall where she will major in Art. She has taken seven art classes at CCHS, including: Creative Crafts, Jewelry I, Jewelry II, Drawing & Painting I, AP Studio Art, Decorative & Fiber Arts and Environmental Art. In her free time, Cassidy creates jewelry for friends and family.
Nyla Droz - Nyla plans to major in Fine Arts at the Rhode Island School of Design. While at CCHS, she has taken Studio Art, Drawing & Painting I, AP Drawing and AP 2-D Design. Over the last four years, Nyla has been an intern at Dia Beacon Teens program. Through the Foundation at DIA, she won a national competition for poetry in the arts which allowed for her to travel to Utah. Recently, she had poetry published online through the Gravel Projects.
Gianna Gazziollo has been dancing since she was five years old. She takes weekly classes at Step by Step Dance Studio in Cornwall NY, training in ballet, pointe, contemporary, jazz, hiphop, and tap. In addition, Gianna spent two years traveling with Heat Convention’s pre professional dance company, Heat Force. In cities such as Orlando, Chicago, Arizona, Texas, and Nashville. For the past three years, Gianna has performed in spring musicals with the CCHS drama club and this year Gianna and her peers created a dance team at Cornwall where she was the co-captain. In the fall, Gianna will be attending Montclair State University where she will be majoring in dance and continuing her career!
Annika Greene will be pursuing dance as a minor at Hope College, intending to continue taking classes and improving skills beyond college, though it will not be as a career. She will be majoring in Biochemistry/Molecular Biology, hopefully to become a forensic scientist/investigator in the future. For the past 10 years she has danced at Step By Step, Dance and Music Design, and the Nutmeg Ballet Conservatory. She is a member of the Royal Academy of Dance and completed six Royal Academy of Dance exams with high merits.
Kristian Greene will be attending The Juilliard School in the fall of 2025, studying Jazz Tenor Saxophone. Throughout high school, Kristian has had the opportunity to participate in the All-County jazz band and the NYSBDA Honors Jazz Ensemble, under Dennis Mackrel and Steve Wilson, in consecutive years. He is eager to continue his musical studies and making connections in New York City. Kristian would also like to thank the friends, family, and mentors who have contributed so much to his development as a musician, including his parents, Jake Hoover, Mike Reifenberg, and Mike Lee.
Ellen Kramer Ellen plans to attend Princeton in the fall majoring in Comparative Literature and minoring in Studio Art and Creative Writing. Over the years at CCHS, Ellen has taken Studio Art, Drawing & Painting II, AP Drawing and AP 2-D Design and has produced three murals for the school community. Ellen has also won 1 Gold and 3 Silvers Scholastic Art Awards and was a state finalist for Poetry Outloud. Locally, Ellen had a Solo Show at Two Alices Coffee Shop and is presently working on the Storm King Decision Project, an outdoor public sculpture,creating Graphic Designs for artist Artist Vivienne Collins of Cornwall.
Claire Nasu - Calire will attend the University of Virginia in the fall majoring in architecture. Over the last four years at CCHS, Claire has taken Studio Art, Drawing & Painting I, Drawing & Painting II and AP Studio Art. Claire has served as the Mathlete co-president and is an origami expert who led an origami workshop at multicultural night this year. As for awards, Claire has won a whopping 14, gold & silver scholastic art awards. Outside of school, Claire worked as a mural artist helping to paint the swimming pool for the Village of Cornwall.
Xinran Shen - Xinran will attend George Washington University in the fall majoring in International Affairs and minoring in Fine Arts. While at CCHS, Xinran has taken Studio Art, Drawing & Painting I, AP Studio Art and Sculpture. Xin has been an active member of Art club all four years and has served as the treasurer this year. Xin’s artwork has earned two 2 silver Scholastic Art awards. Outside of school, Xinran is using her design skills working as a graphic designer for the Storm King Decision Project, an outdoor public sculpture, for artist Artist Vivienne Collins of Cornwall.
Olivia Stuhlweissenberg - Olivia plans to attend Marist College in the fall majoring in Fine Arts and then hopes to go graduate school for a Master in Teaching and Art Education. While at CCHS, Olivia has taken: Studio Art, Drawing & Painting I, AP Drawing Portfolio, AP 2-D Design Portfolio and Jewelry.
Isabela Centeno HerreraIsabela plans on attending FIT. She will be pursuing a degree in Interior design, she is between commercial or residential. Isabela appreciates the simplicity of abstract and contemporary styles. While at CCHS, Isabela has taken Creative Crafts, Jewelry, SUNY CAD, woodworking and Residential Structures. She attended the CTEC program where she created her interior design portfolio.
CCHS Class of 2025 Grads Continuing their Education in Fine and Performing Arts
Anna Ciorciari - Anna plans to begin her study of Graphic Design at SUNY Rockland for two years followed by two years at Arizona State University. At CCHS, she has taken seven different art classes including:Creative Crafts, Drawing & Painting I, AP Drawing Portfolio, AP 2-D Design Portfolio, Environmental Art, Decorative Fibers Art and Cultural Arts. Outside of school, Anna has been prolific selling her artwork, and has designed tattoos, created and sold album covers. Her work has won Scholastic Art Awards including 2 Gold and 3 Silver.
