  • When should I hand in my log sheets?

    Posted by:

As soon as possible.  Whenever you have hours that are signed for, hand your sheets in.  We don’t want you to potentially lose them!

For the School, Community and World Endorsement, you simply need to fill out the online log form for 20 hours for graduation purposes and hand in your hours ONLY when you have completed a full section of the endorsement.

  • What counts as community service?

    Posted by:

To help answer the question of “is this community service or not?” please use the following flow chart.

Is the activity voluntary and unpaid?

Is the primary purpose to benefit others or the community?

Does the activity address a community need or social issue?

Is the activity performed for a registered non-profit organization, school, or recognized community group?

Does the activity involve direct service, support, or contribution to others or the community?

If the answer is yes to all of the above, then it counts as community service.
