I have been teaching for 18 years, and this is my 7th year teaching at Cornwall Central High School.  I hold a BA in English from SUNY Geneseo and a MA in Teaching English from Columbia University's Teachers College.  Prior to teaching, I worked in sales and marketing for Wired Magazine and Estee Lauder International in Manhattan.  I am also a proud alumni of CCHS, a resident of Cornwall, and have three children in the district.  

Outside the classroom, I am a co-advisor for the Junior Class and serve on the committee for the Barbara Crevling Memorial Arts Grant.

It is a privilege to teach in this district. I love that I get to study literature alongside my students each day, to watch them formulate their own ideas about the texts they read and to help them learn to effectively communicate their understanding and insight through writing and discussion.  It is my goal to foster a classroom of openness, respect and creativity where students feel free to share ideas.
