The unofficial results for the Cornwall Central School District 2026-2027 school board member elections are as follows:
- Katherine Carey - 1049
- Christine Diaz - 1059
- Carl Gilpatrick - 977
- Margaret Quinn - 1063
- Kathleen Hand - 1212
Kathleen Hand, Margaret Quinn, and Christine Diaz are elected to 3 year terms beginning 7/1/2026 to 6/30/2029.
Katherine Carey will assume the seat vacated by Richard Schaffner for the remainder of his term for two years beginning 5/20/2026 to 6/30/2028.
Carl Gilpatrick will assume the seat vacated by Elenora Fazio for the remainder of her term for one year beginning 5/20/2026 to 6/30/2027.

Board of Education Appoints Megan Argenio as Superintendent of Schools.
Mrs. Megan Argenio was officially appointed as Superintendent of Schools for CCSD at the May 5, 2026 BOE meeting.
She has served as Interim Superintendent throughout this school year and has demonstrated exceptional leadership, professionalism, and dedication to our students, staff, and community. Following a comprehensive search process that included valuable input from stakeholders across the district, the Board is confident that she is the right leader to continue moving Cornwall forward.
Her appointment marks an exciting new chapter for the Cornwall Central School District, as it continues its tradition of educational excellence and strong community partnership.
