I hold a Bachelor of Music in Music Education from the Crane School of Music and a Master of Arts in Music Education from Teachers College, Columbia University. My passion for teaching is rooted in a lifelong love of music, and sharing that excitement with my students is the best part of my every day! My favorite ways to make music are singing and playing the piano! I also enjoy exploring music from different cultures around the world, which often acts as inspiration for me. Through my teaching, I strive to build not only musical skills but also confidence, curiosity, and a lifelong appreciation for the arts in my students.
When I’m not teaching, I enjoy expressing my creativity in other ways, especially through painting and photography. I’m a big fan of Musical Theatre and will try to catch a Broadway or local show whenever possible! I’m also an animal lover and proud pet mom to a sweet guinea pig named Biscuit, who has a big personality packed into a small package!
