Collaborative for Academic, Social and Emotional Learning (CASEL) is the premier source for all things related to Social and Emotional Learning.  

CASEL Framework

The CASEL framework lays out the 5 main competencies for Social and Emotional Learning.  Our school district uses these 5 competencies to be on common language and to target our SEL efforts.

Choose Love Movement

In grades K-8 here in the Cornwall Central School District, students will receive curriculum lessons that are evidence based and follow along with the CASEL 5 competencies.

In order to help support your child at home, this no-cost guide for parents gives a series of guided videos, activities and dinner table discussion topics.  This resource teaches families how to manage their emotions, communicate in healthier ways and create a nurturing environment focused on the things that matter most.
