Cornwall Central High School is located 60 miles north of New York City on the west bank of the Hudson River.  The school is comprised of students from the Village of Cornwall-on-Hudson, the Town of Cornwall and parts of the towns of New Windsor and Woodbury.

The High School has approximately 1100 students in grades 9-12 and is consistently ranked as the top high school in a three county area. The NY State Report Card can be found by clicking here.  The school not only offers a strong academic program, but has a thriving athletic and arts program. 


SchoolMessenger is the primary communication to parents via phone, email and text messages on matters such as school closings/delays, district emergencies, daily announcements, attendance, food service account balances and general interest activities. CCHS does not mail report cards and progress reports home. All report card and progress report information will be accessible via Parent Portal. If you are in need of a parent portal account please download the form and return it to your child's school with a copy of your valid government issued photo ID. Forms are also available in the main office of all school and district offices. All students have a portal account via their school email address.
