Regents Week Schedule:
In June when there are exams, CBI will have school with early dismissal. The dates change yearly and will be announced closer to June 2026.
** The following is district and school policies:
Cell Phone Policy: To comply with NYS regulations CCHS will implement a cell phone procedure where students need to put their cell phones in their lockers upon arriving at the building and can retrieve them after the dismissal bell. Please refer to the cell phone policy letter that was shared with you last week for details. Students who do not adhere to this policy may be subject to discipline.
Backpacks:
Students may carry and use backpacks throughout the school day, except during Community Lunch. For safety reasons, backpacks must be placed in lockers during lunch. To help with this and cell phone storage, we’ve added extra passing
time and will spend the first few days of school practicing locker use and combinations.
Lateness:
In addition to attendance it is imperative that students are on time for school. Students that come to class late disrupt the learning that is taking place and are missing seat time. Students that develop habits of lateness will be required to meet with school support staff and their parents/guardians to create a plan of action to arrive at school on time. Students that are late will be subject to discipline.
Dress For Success:
The mission of CCHS is to prepare students for college and career readiness. As part of that mission we would like students to focus on appropriate dress for the venue they are attending. For example what one would wear to the beach or the gym is not appropriate for school and or typically places of employment. Students should not be wearing clothing that advertises drugs, alcohol, explicit adult websites or entertainment, tobacco, weapons, foul language or abbreviated foul language.
Deliveries:
Due to growing safety concerns and increasing disruptions to the school day, students may not have food delivered by parents or outside vendors during the day.
